Bitcoin approached the long-awaited $10,000, adding almost 19% to its price within the weekend. Bitcoin surpasses Mastercard by capitalization, and the total cryptocurrency market beat Visa by this criteria.
According to Coinmarketcap, the average bitcoin rate is $9,753.8, while its market capitalization has surpassed $163 billion. Bitcoin value is now bigger than Mastercard’s capitalization.
The Asian stocks lead the trading activity, with Japanese yen accounting for 65% of bitcoin trading in pairs with fiat currencies.
